Crunchy chocolate peanut butter


3 cups dry roasted peanuts

Extra cup dry roasted peanuts

200g dark chocolate

Pinch of sea salt



  1. Add the peanuts to a food processor and blitz for 5-10 minutes until it reaches your desired consistency. If needed, stop periodically to scrape the sides of the bowl.
  2. In the meantime, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the chocolate in 30 second increments, stirring after each increment. Once the chocolate is melted, add it to the food processor along with the extra cup of peanuts and salt. Pulse to combine, but do not overwork the mixture; otherwise, you won’t have the crunchy element.
  3. Pour the peanut butter mixture into mason jars and allow to cool before putting the lid on.


Spread it on toast, add it to smoothies or eat it straight from the jar.
